BARBARESCO
(PETER AERNE X Self)
This very beautiful burgundy crispata shows its
Lambert heritage. Fertile both ways, this seedling produces an abundance
of this exotically shaped flowers on relatively short scapes, just above
the foliage tips. The effect is superb. The name applied for this beautiful
quilled and pinched Crispata is "BARBARESCO" - a rich red wine
of our countryside. Very distinctive in shortish habitus. EM, DOR, NOCT,
45 - 50cm, 15cm, top-branched, blooming a few inches above the foliage tips.
Good increase once established.
