GREEN-EYED LIZARD
28in, MID, 8.5in, top-branched, ca. 15 - 18 buds per scape, NOCT, SEv to Ev, Soft sienna amber with green infusion and mahogany dusting above deep, clear green throat.
A very unusual novelty: the very green throat radiates into the pale amber yellow base colour of the flower. The flowers are long, strap-segmented and curl back in a Cascade Form. The outer halves of the tepals are dusted in burnt sienna, sometimes speckled to reveal an irregular "lizard skin" pattern of pale amber.
Semi evergreen to evergreen foliage habits, it grows well for us, but much better if we have had milder winters. Top-branched scapes with ca. 15 buds, 18 -20 cm flowers. A Pinched and Curled to Variable Crispata form with Nocturnally opening habits. Very Fragrant. (FOOLSCAP X CAROLICOLOSSAL) Rave reviews from German and France.
