GREEN-EYED LIZARD (2000)
This variable crispata is less pronounced in form than, for example, AUGUSTO BIANCO or MOONLIT PIROUETTE. Its huge size and very unusual colouring and spotting give it an exotic presence in the garden.

28in, MID, 8.5in, top-branched, ca. 15 - 18 buds per scape, NOCT, SEv to Ev, Soft sienna amber with green infusion and mahogany dusting above deep, clear green throat. Very unusual novelty: the very green throat radiates into the pale amber yellow base colour of the flower. The outer halves of the tepals are dusted in burnt sienna, sometimes speckled to reveal an irregular "lizard skin" pattern of pale amber. Semi evergreen to evergreen foliage habits. Top-branched scapes with ca. 15 buds, 18 -20 cm flowers. A Pinched and Curled to Variable Crispata form with Nocturnally opening habits. Very Fragrant. (FOOLSCAP X CAROLICOLOSSAL)
