Along with the "Exotics", now called
the Unusual Form Class, the exotically-eyed modern hemerocallis have long
captivated a place in my heart and I've collected a few. My personal favourties
are those whose eyezones are composed of subtly coloured veins as in WITCH
STITCHERY and CHINESE CLOISSONE', but the stunningly contrasting eyezone
of OUTRAGEOUS and LIN WRIGHT are very special additions to a sub-tropical
looking landscape.
