(Sib to ASTERISK) x unknown
This flower may very well end up registered, I like it so much. It has also drawn the attention of many of my breeder colleagues because of its pronounced form. Similar to FAIRY SUMMERBIRD, but perhpas more prounounced in form.

This plant displayed regularly the very rare BUTTERFLY crispation pattern and nocturnally-opening flowers. Pod fertile. Slow to increase so far, but has been subject to many droughts. The exquisite form was a tremendous joy for me to find in the seedling patch!
In the summer of 1999, the form of this Butterfly seedling was stable, the crispation pattern being consistant. It blooms on top-branched scapes so far, but like other plants of this particular heritage, branching may develop if left alone for three to four years (2000 - 2001). Still slow to increase this year, it is a hardy dormant, nocturnally opening Mid Season bloomer.
