MILADY GREENSLEEVES
(Lambert 78)
32in, 7in, MID, DOR, NOCT. A moderate (as opposed
to "extreme") CASCADE FORM of very unusual colour combination.
A beautiful flower. This flower has had rave reviews in England where the
cooler climate brings out rich undertones of pinks, salmon and rosy buff
as well as a more pronouced green throat. Growth and increase are good.
Pod and pollen fertile, but I have as yet been able to get a pronouced Unusual
Form out of it. The predominant star shape prevails in 90% of my crosses.
A unique seedling of the 1999 batch is illustrated below, showing the beautiful
colour combinations achieved with MILADY GREENSLEEVES breeding, but it also
show the dominant star-shaped form.
